Marko Djuric with Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah: Serbia condemns Iran’s strikes on Kuwait

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric conveyed today to his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, that Serbia condemns Iran’s strikes on Kuwait and consistently adheres to international norms.

Djuric and El-Sabah spoke by phone about the current situation in Kuwait.

“I conveyed our firm condemnation of the Iranian strikes, acknowledging Kuwait’s long-standing role as a constructive mediator in the Gulf region,” Djuric wrote on Instagram.

The minister emphasized that Serbia consistently abides by international norms and believes that lasting security in the Middle East is a matter of global importance.

“We also discussed the broader relations between our two countries. After more than 60 years of friendship, we remain focused on enhancing political dialogue at the highest level and strengthening cooperation in all areas where our interests intersect,” Djuric added.
