The Deputy Director of the Clinical Hospital Center Kosovska Mitrovica and former mayor of Zvecan, Dragisa Milovic, appealed to the international community to put pressure on Pristina to repeal the ban on the import of goods from Serbia, because as he points out, if this does not happen, due to the lack of medicines and basic groceries, the citizens are threatened with a humanitarian disaster.

"This unreasonable decision by Pristina, under the guise of being the most democratic country in Europe, makes the already difficult life of our citizens even more difficult. The prevention of the entry of goods from central Serbia into Kosovo and Metohija affected our citizens, above all when we talk about basic groceries, milk, and dairy products, but our patients in the Clinical Hospital Center and chronic patients who cannot get their therapy also suffer," Milovic says for Kosovo Online.

He added that the last reserves of antibiotics, IV therapy solutions, and bandages were being used up in the Clinical Hospital Center.

"We are threatened with a humanitarian disaster if this unreasonable decision is not revoked. We appeal to the representatives of the international community, who are here according to Resolution 1244, to make life easier for all citizens and call on Pristina to revoke this decision. The Serbs, Albanians, Bosniaks, and Roma people are treated in the Clinical Hospital Center; it is necessary to make life and treatment easier for our citizens," Milovic said.
