On the NATO website, Osmani referred to as "Ms. from Kosovo"

In the announcement of the meeting between NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Kosovo's President Vjosa Osmani, the website of the North Atlantic Alliance does not mention Osmani as the President of Kosovo; instead, she is referred to as "Ms. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu from Kosovo."

"The NATO Secretary General will meet with Ms. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu from Kosovo. On Thursday, September 7, 2023, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will receive Ms. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu," as stated on the NATO website.

This kind of "treatment" should not come as a surprise, as not all NATO member states recognize Kosovo. Specifically, for four European Union member states that are also NATO members, Kosovo is not a state – for Spain, Greece, Romania, and Slovakia.
