Kosovo academician Rexhep Qosja said on the eve of the 110th anniversary of the declaration of independence of Albania that Albanians today have two, "separate, free and independent states".

Qosja stated on Facebook that the idea of the delegates from the Valona Assembly about the national state was thus "partially realized".

"Descendants of Ismail Qemali, Luigj Gurakuqi, Isa Boletini, Hasan Prishtina and other delegates of the Assembly of Valona today have two separate, free and independent states - Albania and Kosovo. Their idea of a national state has thus been partially realized. But if history gave them the right and their national idea - ethnic Albania is only partially realized today, we can hope that it will inevitably be fully realized," Qosja wrote.
