"Resistance at every step, North Brigade" graffiti in Zvecan and Zubin Potok too

Graffiti signed by "North Brigade" appeared this morning in the northern Kosovo towns, Zvecan and Zubin Potok, as well, calling for resistance against the implementation of new vehicle license plates from Serbian to RKS plates decision.

The graffiti first appeared yesterday in Severna Mitrovica (North Mitrovica), this morning also in Leposavic, and the message written on the main city streets reads: "As of November 21, 2022, resistance at every step is everyone's duty. North Brigade".

Kosovo police announced yesterday that they launched an investigation due to the graffiti in Severna Mitrovica. 

"Kosovo police has taken with its units the necessary police actions for the investigation and further action regarding graffiti written on walls and streets," Kosovo Police spokesperson Baki Kelani said.

The new crisis in northern Kosovo arose following the Kosovo government's decision to unilaterally start the reciprocity measure implementation imposing on the owners of cars with Serbian license plates the obligation to re-register their vehicles with RKS plates. This decision caused indignation among the northern Kosovo Serbs and mass withdrawal from the Kosovo institutions.
