The Serb List announced tonight that a Serb from Gorazdevac, Luka Zlaticanin, was arrested for publicly stating how attackers on Serbs in Kosovo go unpunished.

"Instead of finding and punishing those who desecrated the memorial complex in Gorazdevac, Kurti's repressive regime sent police officers to arrest our compatriot Luka Zlaticanin, because he publicly explained how attackers on Serbs are treated," stated the Serb List in a release.

They note that Luka honestly and without any hatred or bad words wrote that attackers on Serbs are never punished, which they emphasize is the absolute truth:

"That the police initiate proceedings, the prosecution reduces the charges, and the court acquits. This is a well-known pattern that encourages other attacks on Serbs."

They add that representatives of the Serb List in Gorazdevac are in constant communication with the Zlaticanin family, while legal assistance has been provided to Luka to defend the truth from "Kurti's repression."

"Due to the words he publicly wrote, because of the truth that we all know and about which all Serbs publicly speak, tonight Kurti's regime has deprived Luka Zlaticanin of his freedom. This is the paradox of the life of Serbs under the regime of Albin Kurti," they state from the Serb List.

Therefore, they are calling on international representatives to urgently respond and prevent the torture of Luka and his family, as well as all Serbs in Gorazdevac, who, they say, have suffered enough since 1999.
