Serb List: Kurti forgot to explain in Sarajevo that the number of Serbs in Kosovo is decreasing because of his terror
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti used his visit to Sarajevo to boast about achieving his goal of ethnically cleansing Kosovo, the Serb List stated, emphasizing that he failed to mention that this was accomplished through terror, institutional violence against Serbs, and by preventing the return of displaced persons to their ancestral homes through property seizures, intimidation, and arbitrary arrests.
"Kurti used his visit to Sarajevo to brag about successfully ethnically cleansing Kosovo and Metohija of Serbs, mentioning how there are fewer Serbs now. Of course, he forgot to explain that there are fewer Serbs for two reasons. The first is the terror he imposes on the innocent Serbian population, using institutional violence to implement repression. The second is his prevention of displaced persons from returning to their ancestral homes by seizing Serbian property, intimidating people, and arbitrarily arresting all Serbs who refuse to sell their family lands," the Serb List stated.
They also addressed Kurti's claim that there are more Albanians in Serbia than Serbs in Kosovo, pointing out that this highlights the responsible policies of Serbia’s leadership.
"In the same statement, Kurti, no less, praised the position of Albanians in Serbia, clearly admitting that their number is greater than that of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. This, of course, confirms that all citizens of Serbia benefit from the policies led by President Aleksandar Vucic, which include respecting the rights of Serbs and all other peoples, fostering economic growth and development, and building factories, roads, railways, and highways," the Serb List emphasized.
They reiterated that Serbs are committed to remaining in Kosovo and will continue to fight against Albin Kurti's aspirations.
"The Serb List, with the support of our state Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic, will continue to fight vigorously using all democratic means to ensure that Kurti never achieves his goal of expelling our people. We are all determined to stay where we belong," the statement concluded.
