Serbia welcomes Joint Declaration of Armenia and Azerbaijan

Serbia welcomes the Joint Declaration between Armenia and Azerbaijan, signed yesterday in Washington under the auspices of the United States of America, and commends the constructive engagement of both parties, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

The Ministry further highlighted the very important role of the U.S. President Donald Trump in facilitating this achievement.

“The Joint Declaration represents an important step toward establishing lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the South Caucasus. The Republic of Serbia will continue to advocate for the promotion of peaceful dialogue, regional connectivity, and the enhancement of cooperation among all countries, based on mutual respect and full adherence to international law and order,” the statement reads.
