Presevo Municipality President Shqiprim Arifi said that the "Presevo Valley" no longer expected anything from Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who, according to him, had threatened the partnership with the US, as reported by Reporteri.

"Kurti's politics in the "Presevo Valley" does not differ from the politics in Albania and Macedonia. In the past year, he has shown that he has completely split the "Presevo Valley" political spectrum. He directly clashed with the European Union and the US, seriously threatening the partnership with the US, which is why I doubt him. The misuse of funds for the "Presevo Valley" by Kurti and Besnik Bislimi clearly shows that we have nothing to expect from Kurti," Arifi stated in Teve1.

On the question of whether he does not feel guilty about the political representation of Albanians in the "valley" and that he fails to advance his agenda, Arifi replied that it was a wrong perception.

"In 2020, after 30 years of effort, we managed to unite in a joint list for the parliamentary elections. Furthermore, from ten political parties until 2016, we have only five of them today. That means that we have a continuous consistency in unifying the political spectrum. However, it was stopped when Albin Kurti became prime minister," Arifi said.

He added that Kurti was also involved in the "internal democratic processes of the valley."
