Special Police searched the premises of the "Lola" factory in Zubin Potok; it is forbidden to enter the factory area
Members of the Special Unit of the Kosovo Police, accompanied by officials of the Kosovo Privatization Agency, forcibly entered the premises of the tool factory "Lola" in Zubin Potok around 10 a.m. and searched the building and the factory grounds for more than an hour, Kosovo Online learns.
Special Forces with long guns first surrounded the factory area; more than 50 of them, then broke in and left the factory area shortly after 11:00.
There was no one in the factory at the time of the police raid; this factory has not been working for years.
At this moment, it is unknown what the police were looking for, and after leaving the factory premises, they hung a written notice on the gate stating that the factory is under the management of the Kosovo Privatization Agency and that unauthorized entry is prohibited.
The raid on the "Lola" factory in Zubin Potok happened just one day after NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that any action by the Special Units of the Kosovo Police in the north of Kosovo required coordination with KFOR.
