President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated today that there was a great demand for Serbian weapons and military equipment, and he announced additional investments in the defense industry.

During an interview on TV Pink, Vucic stated that there was a significant interest in Serbian weapons and equipment, even from stocks, however, he, as the Supreme Commander, made the decision not to sell any weapons or equipment from stocks.

He emphasized that many were interested in Serbia's modernized tanks, especially the "Nora," for which there was a substantial demand.

"Now they started asking us to sell and provide weapons, even from military stocks, to everyone. Everyone likes our modernized tanks, 'Pasars' and 'Noras.' But I made the decision that no weapon from stocks will leave Serbia," the president emphasized.

Vucic announced that the Serbian defense industry would secure its largest contract with a friendly country, which would be a long-term agreement. He said that the country was reportedly requesting the Serbian defense industry to produce 48 "Nora" for them, emphasizing that it spoke to the quality of Serbian weapons and equipment.

"The contracts are worth several hundred million euros," the President of Serbia said, announcing new investments in the defense industry that, as he stated, would enable it to earn billions.

As President Vucic announced, retirees will receive 20,000 dinars on November 30, and on December 1, social assistance recipients and caregivers will receive 10,000 dinars.

"As you know, there will be a 10 percent increase across the entire public sector, and the minimum wage will be at 47,154 dinars. From May or June, we can consider additional increases, both for minimum wages and salaries," the president said.

He announced that the stadiums in Loznica and Zajecar would be open today and tomorrow.

"We have invested so much money in healthcare, medicines, in vitro fertilization. We have completed the Clinical Centers in Nis and Belgrade, and the Clinical Center in Vojvodina is nearing completion, there are many more scanners, mammography machines, and more," Vucic stated.

He called on citizens to visit the wine fair in Belgrade and announced that records would be broken, making it the third or fourth fair in Europe.

Vucic said that the opposition's campaign ahead of the December elections boiled down to two things.

"The problem is that their campaign has been reduced to two things: one is hatred towards the Vucic family, pathological hatred, and the other is that they have harnessed themselves to protect the tycoon interests of Dragan Solak. You see, whatever happens in Serbia, they all react – all of them have to come forward and defend Solak," Vucic said.
