Vucic: I never play double games regarding Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor regarding Kosovo and Metohija
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated that Serbia always respected the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Dayton Agreement, and the Constitution, as well as the rights of the three constituent peoples and the two entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he emphasized that there were no double games regarding Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor regarding Kosovo, Objektiv reports.
"I've always been very sincere and honest. I never engage in any double games, neither regarding the question of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor regarding the question of Kosovo and Metohija, nor on any other matter," Vucic said for Avaz, during his visit to the Republic of Srpska.
He emphasized that Serbia was ready to help everyone, and people from the Republic of Srpska sought and expected its assistance and support, and it would aid them, and he pointed out that Serbia was prepared to provide all kinds of support to those from the Bosniak community.
"For example, if you ask me about consulates, if you want to open a consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Nis, Krusevac, go ahead, we have granted all the permits in Novi Pazar, whatever you want, it's possible. For us, it's a matter of normal, rational national relations," Vucic said, as reported by Srpskainfo.
The President of Serbia believes that unnecessary stories about senseless conspiracies that sow discord among peoples should be avoided.
Responding to questions about US sanctions against officials from the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, Vucic declined to elaborate further but stated that solutions needed to be found to overcome the economic and political obstacles arising from them.
He rejected speculations that Serbia was a "factor of instability in the region."
Vucic reiterated that the "Open Balkan" initiative was the future, and it depended on how many smart people in the region would gather around that idea. He noted that problems were created only by people who longed for conflicts so they could finally become something, as they could not achieve anything in peace.
