Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that one of the main topics during the continuation of dialogue in Brussels on Thursday would be the safety of Serbs in Kosovo.

Vucic made this statement in Nis while visiting the start of construction for the Austrian company Palfinger's factory. He was responding to a journalist's question about whether he would insist on addressing the safety concerns of Serbs in Kosovo, given that another attack and beating of a Serbian young man from Gracanica occurred yesterday, and a house was set on fire for returnees in the Vucitrn municipality.

The Serbian President mentioned that he had already discussed this matter with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.

"All I can say about it is that I have already talked to Lajcak and pointed out this problem. It will also be the main topic on Thursday," Vucic said.

Three unidentified Albanians assaulted Strahinja Petrovic from Gracanica on Sunday evening on his way to the village of Dobrotin, near Lipljan, and the case was reported to the Kosovo Police.

Pressures on returnees continue, as evidenced by the house of the Janackovic family in Novo Selo Madjunsko, near Vucitrn, being set on fire for the third time.
