President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, commenting on the Pristina court's ban on displaying Serbian flags in Kosovo on Vidovdan (St. Vitus Day), appealed to everyone traveling to Kosovo tomorrow not to give Albin Kurti the opportunity to arrest them, stating that the time will come when they will be able to wear Serbian shirts and carry Serbian flags freely everywhere.

"I urge all young men and women going to Kosovo and Metohija not to give Kurti the opportunity to arrest them. Do you know how many Serbs we’ve had to get out of prison, how hard we had to work to succeed in that…" Vucic said for TV Pink from Krusevac, where he attended the evening service at the Lazarica Church on the eve of Vidovdan.

President Vucic reminded that even his elder son in Kosovo once had an automatic rifle pointed at his temple, simply because he was wearing a "No Surrender" T-shirt.

"The time will come when we’ll be able to wear Serbian shirts and wave Serbian flags everywhere, completely freely. That’s why it’s important to preserve peace and stability throughout Serbia," Vucic emphasized.

He added that he came to Kruševac to pay tribute to the heroes of Kosovo.

He expressed his gratitude to the Serbs who, as he pointed out, endure unprecedented terror, yet remain, persevere, and safeguard the Serbian name and heritage in Kosovo.

"I am here to express immense gratitude to the immortal heroes of Kosovo for all they did for the Serbian state. Now it is up to us to defend it from external attacks and to preserve our only homeland—Serbia," President Vucic said.
