Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said from New York that after today's arrests of the Serbs in Kosovo, it was quite clear that after the threat that the Serbs would suffer and pay, Albin Kurti had embarked on one of the last operations in a wider campaign of ethnic cleansing of the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija.

He also pointed out that Serbia was doing everything in its power to react to that.

"We want to use all diplomatic and political means, and we know very well what our job is to protect the interests of our people in Kosovo and Metohija," Vucic said.

He called on all international representatives to react and do everything in their power so that the Serbs could survive in Kosovo, and that people who were not guilty of anything were released as soon as possible.

"We want to use all political means. We call on the international community to react. We will have very important meetings in the early hours of the morning," Vucic said.

He added that he had informed the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez about this, as a sincere and great friend of Serbia, and that he had discussed it again with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and with the representatives of the EU.

"I hope and want to believe that they will understand our messages well," President Vucic said.

He indicated that tomorrow, in addition to his speech at the UN General Assembly, he would also have many bilateral meetings, including with the Vice President of China and the President of the Republic of Korea.

He announced that for the first time, he would ask his Chinese friends to tell him, apart from the general view of the situation in Kosovo, whether Serbia could expect wider support from China.

Accordingly, a decision will be made on the request to hold a Security Council session on the situation in Kosovo, in accordance with state interests.

"We will not allow the work to be completed in a day, two or three, as they have done elsewhere...", Vucic said and added that the public would be informed about it perhaps as early as tomorrow.

It is obvious who is guilty, it is also clear to those who support Kurti who is guilty

President Vucic said that if the United Nations did not allow Serbia to hold an emergency session of the Security Council on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, someone would have to explain it to us and pointed out that Belgrade was fed up with "both sides" and "double guilt".

"It is obvious who is guilty, it is also clear to those who support Kurti who is guilty," Vucic said.

When asked if Kosovo would be the main topic of his speech, Vucic said that the main topic of his speech would be the principles of public international law, and of course Kosovo.

He invited the citizens of Serbia to listen to his speech tomorrow, which would be after 5 p.m. our time and added that as a political veteran, as someone who would be in power for the longest time since we had had a multi-party system, he wanted to leave his mark with that speech as well.

"I will speak the facts, the truth, and I believe that many people will not like it. I am not sure that anyone will like it because of the general hypocrisy in the world, everyone refers to principles, and they exist if you apply them in every situation, and that today you say that territorial integrity and sovereignty are the highest in international public law, how can you violate that even today, Resolution 12 44 is still in force," Vucic says.

He points out that Serbia is only asking for what the great powers are asking to be respected in Ukraine, to be respected here as well, which is the territorial integrity of Serbia.

When asked if he expected anything to change after his speech, Vucic pointed out that nothing would change, but that he would understand who we are and that he would point out that people in the world were less and less willing to put up with dictates from everyone and from the west and from the east.

"We ask that you respect us and not tell us about one principle for Ukraine and another for Serbia, one for Kurti and another for Belgrade. When we are guilty, say we are guilty, but not to talk about both sides anymore," Vucic said.

About Svecla's threats: My son was harassed, they are going to arrest me... We will see

When asked about Svecla's message that he would be arrested if he came to Kosovo without notice and permission, Vucic answered briefly, "We will see."

Better if Stano had reacted to Kurti's threat, rather than sharing lessons on "double responsibility"

When asked if there would be any significant visits to Serbia soon, given that the name of German Chancellor Olaf Soltz was mentioned in the media, Vucic replied that it would certainly not happen in the next month.

He pointed out that he was now fully committed to the events in Kosovo and the upcoming visit to China, which, he said, would be crucial for many reasons, from economic to political.

"Let's see what it is regarding Kosovo and Metohija, to what extent we can count on which international partners, and what we can't and what we can do alone," Vucic noted.

He stated that everything Kurti did, while everyone was silent, was becoming "such rudeness".

"All this comes after the sentence that the Serbs will suffer and pay, to which no one reacted. It would be better if that expert Stano had remembered to react to that criminal and sinister sentence, instead of pretending to be smart and sharing lessons about bilateral responsibility," the President of Serbia said.

He also noticed that there was a smell of freedom in the world, which might not be at the door, but that smell, he said, was stronger than ever.

"I can say that, I've been here for the umpteenth time, I see how the freedom movements are spreading around the world... People want to be independent and they won't tolerate lectures. I have to put up with them, but I always do it in the interest of Serbia. And, many who are bigger than us no longer feel that need... When we, little ones, feel that smell of freedom, that we are allowed to say everything we think, it is food for the soul of our suffering people, who have gone through all the lies... We are always to blame, and they never. And it won't be like that," Vucic said.

He added that he would continue to "inhale that smell with his full lungs", without harming Serbia.

"I believe that we will fight for our country. We will protect our sky ourselves, we will buy everywhere, we will make our own and we will be able to protect our people and country," Vucic concluded.

"They mistreated my son, they are going to arrest me... Who is going to arrest whom and what will it look like... We will see," Vucic said.

About Nagorno-Karabakh

When asked to comment on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and whether he had learned the Armenian lesson.

"You have fraudsters in Serbia who say look at the similarity in the situation in Armenia and Serbia. Look at what kind of crooks we are talking about, they are supposedly patriots. First of all, you have to keep in mind that Serbia is not a member of the CSTO, nor is it a member of NATO. We do not belong to any military pact and are militarily neutral. Armenia belongs to the CSTO, the Russian military group, and lately, it has started to leave it and conduct exercises with the Americans," Vucic said.

On the other hand, he emphasizes, that Serbia has the right to do this with whomever it wants because, as he explains, it is a neutral country, unlike Armenia.

"Armenia was abandoning its positions of friendship and closeness with Russia. As far as we are concerned, I will not enter into the Armenian position, it is certainly difficult, it is a friendly nation to us and I will not talk about that," Vucic said.

Serbia, which is militarily neutral, he points out, will not be determined by the Russians, the Americans, the Germans, or anyone else with whom it will have exercises and what it will do.

"Why? Because I know we can only rely on ourselves. To this day, we don't know why the Russians left Kosovo and why we were left alone then, but they won't accept the argument that the Russians didn't bomb us and didn't attack our country, but these 19 most powerful supposedly democratic countries," he said.

Vucic also said that the time had come when people in the world were less willing to put up with pressure from outside and that small and medium-sized countries had started to slowly unite and "raise their heads and start looking for their place under the sun".

"You could never see that more clearly than here. It's an irreversible process, it's a process in which people see how their people can move forward and live better," Vucic said.

He cited the example of Africa, where decolonization was underway and where the citizens of those countries wanted to use their resources for the benefit of their citizens.

"Serbia is together with all the countries, but it also wants to cooperate with everyone, we respect everyone, we just ask that you address us with respect and do not insult our intelligence. Don't talk about one principle for Ukraine and another for Serbia, one for Kurti and another for Belgrade," Vucic said.

He emphasized that Serbia accepted responsibility if it was guilty, but wouldn’t if it was not.

"The battle will be long and easy, but I am sure that the libertarian world will win in the end," Vucic concluded.
