Survey: As many as 82 percent of North Macedonian citizens support "Open Balkan"

According to the research conducted by the Research Center of the International Republican Institute (IRI) for North Macedonia, as many as 82 percent of the citizens of that country support the "Open Balkan" initiative.

As stated, this is an increase of seven percent compared to the previous year, when 75 percent of the citizens of North Macedonia declared that they support the "Open Balkan" initiative.

To the question "The Open Balkan initiative is an agreement between North Macedonia, Serbia and Albania that aims to enable the free movement of people, goods, services and capital and cooperation in disaster protection between the three countries. Do you support the Open Balkan initiative or not?", 82 percent of the citizens of North Macedonia who participated in the survey answered affirmatively.
