Kosovo faced record inflation of 11.6 percent last year

Last year, Kosovo faced the highest inflation so far, according to the GAP Institute.

Inflation in Kosovo reached 11.6 percent in 2022, which is the highest rate since 2010.

In 2007, inflation in Kosovo amounted to 4.3 percent, but a year later it recorded a large increase and reached 9.3 percent.

During 2010, inflation had been reduced to 3.5 percent, only to rise again a year later and reach 7.3 percent, GAP stated on its Facebook profile.
