Brnabic: China shows great respect for Serbia

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, who is on a visit to China, stated that China showed great respect for Serbia. She emphasized her belief that the meetings she would have during the visit would further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

"It is a tremendous honor shown to Serbia that just under two weeks after President Aleksandar Vucic had a meeting with President Xi Jinping, I, as the Prime Minister, have a meeting with Premier Li Keqiang and President Xi Jinping. This demonstrates the level of respect China has for Serbia", Brnabic said.

She also shared an interesting detail from her meeting with the Chinese Premier, who said that President Aleksandar Vucic was one of the most well-known figures in China.

She added that this recognition helped in both political and economic relations.

"But also in promoting tourism because, since last year, for the first time in 28 years, we have a direct airline route between China and Serbia. I expect this steel friendship and cooperation to be confirmed", Brnabic said.
