Covic: Kurti's comparison of the Kosovo issue with Republika Srpska is the height of hypocrisy
The former president of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Nebojsa Covic, believes that the fact that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti compared the issue of Kosovo with Republika Srpska is the height of hypocrisy, Pink reports.
"I don't think there is much respect between the Americans and Kurti. It depends on which US stream you look at. What Kurti was talking about are dangerous theses. It is the height of hypocrisy and immorality that he analyzes the Republika Srpska, that is, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and compares it to the area of Kosovo and Metohija," Covic said.
The only correct and true thing, he adds, is that the only success of NATO since 1945 was the aggression against Serbia and the seizure of a part of the Serbian territory that was under the control of the international community until 2008, and since 2008, Covic says, the facts say that it is an occupied part of our territory.
As he added, Kurti's entire story showed one strategy - continuous violence without provocation from the Serbs, with the aim of ethnic cleansing.
"Then you have another element. When you ethnically cleanse Kosovo of Serbs, you have nothing to talk about. It is a technology that has been applied since 1999, it is a model," Covic stated.
He noted that there were about 40 agreements, but that not a single one was implemented or conducted.
"When it comes to the point that something needs to be implemented, additional pressure is created on Serbia. We have reached a phase that is very difficult and dangerous," Covic emphasized.
