Albanian analyst Frrok Cupi told Albanian ABC News that Belgrade and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic had shown readiness to solve the crisis in the north of Kosovo, unlike Pristina, adding that, as he said, "the weight of guilt" fell on the government of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who, he said, wanted an armed conflict in the north.

Cupi stated that Belgrade had better relations and cooperation with the European Union and that it was the side that Pristina had turned into an eternal enemy because, as he pointed out, Kurti's Pristina was trying to have an eternal conflict "on the border".

In the current circumstances, as Cupi notes, Vucic's government has much more visible tolerance; it has a much more visible agreement with the Europeans.

"There is a willingness to resolve the issue, even through diplomatic means. All the weight today, the weight of the guilt, the “weight of the cross” in Pristina is on Kurti's government", the well-known Albanian writer, journalist, political analyst, and former director of the Albanian Telegraphic news agency ATA emphasized.

He sees former US President Bill Clinton's visit to Albania as a strong message from the great powers for Kosovo and adds that by visiting Albania, not Kosovo, Clinton proved the fact that the great powers chose another Albanian state that has a consolidated policy to give the right messages about Kosovo and the recently created conflict in the north.

According to him, the messages of the former American President are very important because it was his intervention that enabled the existence of the state of Kosovo.

"Clinton came to Albania as a great power, especially for Kosovo, he came as a person who won the war in Kosovo. He may be forgotten in the world, but his war in the 21st century against the former Yugoslavia and a great friend of Russia, which is Serbia, is not forgotten," he said.

He adds that it is obvious that Clinton's visit to Tirana is a measure for Kosovo and states that his message will be delivered to Kosovo tomorrow and that Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will do it.

"Other EU envoys in other formats cannot convey such a confidential message, but of the two countries of one nation in Europe, the more politically consolidated one was chosen to send the message that they are not always right," Cupi said.

Cupi emphasized that Kurti seemed to want to portray himself as a hero, so he was looking for an armed conflict in the north and a frozen conflict with Albania.

"I heard many analysts that Kurti suddenly rebelled, but he has a whole history with Self-Determination, with the non-recognition of Albania, Kosovo; he started the war from Tirana; he entered to overthrow the government in Tirana, which I think was in the name of anti-Americanism. Kurti wants an armed conflict in the north and a frozen conflict with Albania because that will increase populism even more," he said.

He adds that Kurti belongs to the type of "Cold War" politicians and that he acts as if there is no conflict in Kosovo and that he sticks to the principles he set himself, going against everyone.

According to him, Kosovo is isolated because of Prime Minister Kurti's actions in relation to the international community.

"Pristina and Kosovo itself are heading towards a very deep isolation, towards complete isolation, the results cannot be predicted today," Cupi says and adds that Kosovo President Vjosa Osman is "Kurti's partisan" and that after the conflict in the north, she was neglected.

As he adds, according to Osmani's views, it was clear that she was not completely in line with Kurti.
