Dacic thanked the Ambassador of Myanmar for the stance of not recognizing Kosovo

The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, received Ambassador Thurain Thant Zin of the Union of Myanmar in a farewell visit today, thanking him for the stance of not recognizing the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, as stated in the press release of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dacic expressed gratitude to the Myanmar Ambassador for his dedication and engagement in developing traditionally friendly relations and overall cooperation between the two countries, wishing him good health, success, and personal happiness.

Ambassador Thurain Thant Zin, reflecting on his tenure in Serbia, emphasized that he carried very fond memories from Belgrade and would always consider Serbia a friend of the Myanmar people. He also confirmed his country's principled support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia and the stance of not recognizing the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.
