The Ambassador of Kosovo in France, Mehdi Halimi, confused the European Parliament with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Namely, Halimi announced on Twitter that he met with the French MP Stephanie Kochert.

However, he presented the French politician on his Twitter account as a "member of the European Parliament" and not as the representative of France in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

"Constructive meeting with the member of the European Parliament, Stephanie Kochert. It is imperative that Kosovo's request for membership in the Council of Europe be quickly processed positively", Halimi stated.
