Once again the Constitution was violated, Kurti and Svecla on RTK2, but only in Albanian

The press conference at which, after the meeting of the National Security Council, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Minister of the Interior, Xhelal Svecla spoke, the Serbs in Kosovo could watch on the channel RTK2, which had been provided by the Kosovo constitution for informing minority communities, but only in the Albanian language.

Although the Constitution guarantees the Serbs' right to be informed, this right was violated this time, during the prime minister's address, and in the moment when his presentation concerns those who make up more than 95 percent of the population in the municipalities in the north, and after the escalation of the crisis with the arrest of Dejan Pantic.

The Serbs did not receive information in their native language from a man who brags everywhere that Kosovo is "the most democratic country for national minorities and where minorities have rights that no other minority in Europe has."

Let us remind you that broadcasts of parliamentary debates are also mostly available only to those who speak the Albanian language, while the Serbs can only watch when a translation of what was discussed in the parliament appears in the media.
