Qalaj: The agreement on license plates avoided a possible conflict between the police and citizens in the north

The former director of the Kosovo Police and deputy of the PDK, Rashit Qalaj, said that by reaching an agreement on license plates, a possible physical conflict between the Kosovo Police and the citizens of four municipalities in the north of Kosovo was avoided, Ekonomia online reports.

Qalaj added that there were not enough details about what exactly the agreement contains.

"It's a good agreement, and after it was reached, tensions in the north were reduced. However, we don't have enough information about the agreement," Qalaj points out.

Qalaj added that Kurti made the wrong moves and that he could have avoided all that before.

"I think that the position of Kosovo is damaged because all the tensions are directed to the Kosovo side. We lost politically as a country and I hope that normality will return to the Government," Qalaj said.
