The Serb List points out that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti wants to mask the truth with lies and propaganda and to present himself and his regime in a different, more favorable light, for two concrete reasons – to justify the seizure of Serbian private land and the militarization of the north, but also the violence continuously perpetrated against the Serbian people.

The Serb List reacted to Kurti's statement, in which he stated that violence against Serbs in Kosovo is "Serbian propaganda," citing that the mandate of the current Kosovo Prime Minister has been marked by more than 500 ethnically motivated attacks.

"Constant institutional violence and ethnically motivated attacks on Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are not propaganda but unfortunately a harsh reality that our people are living under the regime of Albin Kurti, whose obsession with the persecution of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija has reached such a level that he has neglected the needs of the Albanians who voted for him. Kurti's mandate is marked by the fact that more than 500 ethnically motivated attacks have occurred against Serbs, with a good portion directly from members of Kosovo institutions, police, and all others, and that during his reign, the hands of Kosovo Police and Kosovo Security Forces are stained with the blood of Serbs and Serbian boys and young men, like Stefan and Milos Stojanovic from Gotovusa, who were shot on Christmas Eve," the Serb List statement says.

According to the assessment of the Serb List, Kurti has established a kind of criminal circle for the persecution and oppression of Serbs.

This is best seen in the case of Srecko Sofronijevic, they point out, but also in the case of other Serbs who have been arrested and accused of war crimes without any basis.

"Kurti's henchmen first shot at him without any basis or reason and inflicted serious bodily injuries, after which no investigation was conducted to determine the responsibility of those who shot at the citizen and civilian, and when they realized that even that was not enough for Srecko to leave Kosovo and Metohija, they then arrested him in front of his family and have kept him in custody to this day. There are also examples of honorable Serbs who refused to sell their ancestral homes and heritage, so after two decades, they were declared war criminals, and without any evidence, they are being held in prisons across Kosovo and Metohija. There are dozens and hundreds of examples like these, and they are the real and harsh life that Serbs live because of Kurti's regime, not anyone's propaganda," the Serb List states.

They emphasize that the Northern region, while Serbs were in the police force, had the fewest crimes committed and the highest rate of cases solved compared to all regions in Kosovo.

"On the other hand, Kurti can request statistics from his lackey Svecla and see that the Northern region, while Serbs were in the police force, had the fewest crimes committed and the highest rate of cases solved compared to all regions in Kosovo and Metohija," the Serb List emphasizes.
