The Serb List: It's high time for the international community to react to Kurti's behavior
The Serb List, commenting on today's raid on the premises of the Serbian Post in Gorazdevac, as well as the ban on vehicles entering Kosovo with money for pensioners and socially vulnerable individuals, assessed that it was more than obvious that the regime of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was not giving up on its plan to exert pressure on the Serbs with the aim of their expulsion from their centuries-old hearths.
"Despite appeals from international representatives and clear condemnation of the decision to ban the dinar and raid Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija, Kurti's policemen, like bandits, raided the premises of the Serbian Post in the Metohija village of Gorazdevac, in the municipality of Pec, today, harassing and intimidating post workers, as well as representatives of the media," the Serb List statement said.
It is added that this shameful act was preceded by deception, characteristic of kidnappers and criminals.
Namely, as explained, representatives of the Serbian Post had been first contacted by Kurti's police and invited to pick up the vehicle and four million dinars that these "heroes" had stolen from pensioners and recipients of social assistance four days ago.
"Of course, after representatives of the Serbian Post appeared, instead of returning the money and vehicle to them, they were taken to the premises of the Post in Gorazdevac where Kurti's special forces conducted a search and seized computers and documentation," it is emphasized.
They point out that it is high time for the international community to react more sharply to such behavior by Kurti, who, they add, wants to expel all Serbs from Kosovo.
"KFOR and EULEX, as legal formations, must step in to protect the Serbs because it is their obligation based on the mandate they have to ensure peace and security for all citizens, so instead of advertisements about your dedication to peace and security, concrete actions should follow to stop harassment and institutional violence against our people," the statement said.
As the Serb List adds, Minister for Communities and Returns Nenad Rasic "must prove that he is more Albanian than the Albanians, in order to justify the money he receives as Kurti's minister for whom no Serb voted".
"Or, as our people would say, to show everyone how much of a turncoat he is," the statement of the Serb List concludes.
