Stojanovic: Kurti's message is a hint of an additional threat to the peace in the north
Nikola Stojanovic, Foreign Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister of Serbia, believes that the message of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti that the Serbs would have to suffer and pay is a hint of a potential deepening of the crisis and violent actions, as well as an additional threat to the peace in the north of Kosovo.
Stojanovic stated on the "X" social network that Kurti had sent a chilling message directly from the heart of the EU after destroying another round of dialogue.
"Such words hint at a potential deepening of the crisis and violent actions, further endangering the peace in the north of Kosovo. Contrary to that, Belgrade yesterday once again showed its commitment to reaching a compromise and maintaining the fragile peace in the north," Stojanovic said.
He added that it would be a great misfortune if Kurti's intentions came true.
"It would be a tragedy not only for him and us but also a great danger for the wider region," Stojanovic said.
