Vucevic: We are grateful to Romania for respecting the territorial integrity of Serbia

The Minister of Defence of Serbia, Milos Vucevic, met today in Belgrade with the Romanian Ambassador to Serbia, Silvia Davidoiu, and on that occasion stated that Belgrade extremely appreciated that Bucharest, despite enormous pressures, had maintained a consistent position on respecting the territorial integrity of Serbia.

Also, Vucevic, via his Instagram account, thanked the leadership of Romania for their strong support for Serbia in reaching full membership in the EU.

Vucevic said that regional cooperation was one of Serbia's foreign policy priorities and assessed that the cooperation between the two countries was at a high level.

"With Romania, a very substantial cooperation is achieved through regional forums and initiatives, especially within the framework of the Southeast European Cooperation Process," Vucevic says.

He emphasized that the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan with Romania for 2023 had been agreed upon, and signed, which would additionally contribute to further strengthening of cooperation in the aforementioned field.
