The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said tonight that a difficult situation in Kosovo would follow; something that could not even be dreamed of until now, due to the provocative actions of Albin Kurti.

"I am afraid of general insecurity, instability, but also major conflicts because the Serbs cannot tolerate this, and I know that this other one, who caused everything, longs and fantasizes to be a Zelenskyy and will not step down," he said in the show “Hit Tvit” on TV Pink.

Vucic emphasized that people thought that what he was talking about was perhaps some mandatory bureaucratic part because they did not understand that something dangerous was happening.

He said that he had received messages from foreign ambassadors that they were worried about the events of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, adding that he was equally worried, especially as they concerned the Serbian population.

He pointed out that the Serbs would certainly not sit idly by and would certainly protest, demanding that their buildings be returned to them, which the Kurti regime had seized with the use of police force.

He announced that in the coming days, he would have meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron and Slovak President Zuzana Caputova in Bratislava. Then he would travel, he added, to Chisinau for a meeting of the European Political Community, where 46 European leaders would participate.

He said that he expected a meeting with the Slovak and Czech prime ministers, as well as the new president of Montenegro.

The pressures will continue, weak Serbia is the interest of both Pristina and Zagreb

Vucic pointed out that the pressure on him and Serbia would continue, and that one of the important ones was regional pressure because there were people who wanted a change of government in Serbia at any cost.

"And in political Zagreb, part of Sarajevo, part of Podgorica, especially the one where the tycoon Solak is the owner and where Democratic Party of Socialist has a stake in the ownership of the media, and, of course, in Pristina. Pristina and Zagreb are undivided, there is general enthusiasm for the protests against Vucic," the President of Serbia said.

He pointed out that all this was not being done because of him personally, but the target was Serbia.

"Why is someone in Zagreb or Pristina so interested in the overthrow of the government at some protests? Not to say that it is impossible, technically, because you have to win the elections, the question is - why is it in your interest? Wouldn't Pristina and Zagreb want a more successful Serbia? Do you believe that Kurti's media would want a finer, better, and more beautiful... They want Serbia that will not protect the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. Zagreb wants Serbia not to be regionally competitive, to be as weak as it was during the time of Boris Tadic, to represent a regional rag, to apologize in every place, and to be economically the least important in the Balkans," Vucic said.

The pressure would continue, external as well, because many would like to weaken Serbia, both because of Kosovo and because of an independent policy in the international framework, the Serbian President emphasized.

"But they know that it is not easy to win, because the politicians in this country are not capable and popular enough to do it. But they will do everything they can, to prepare for some future times, some others that could serve them in different ways," Vucic said.

He added that it was not at all easy for him to watch politicians organize protests because of a terrible tragedy that had hit Serbia.

"I don't even think it's fair. I understand people, they reacted like I would, and everyone else, in shock, disbelief... And, after the shock, you want to do something. But the politicians say that reality shows are to blame - we will abolish them, they are demanding the resignation of the Minister of Education - Ruzic resigned. Let's talk, but how about all the unrelated requests? You didn't ask anything for the children," Vucic noted.

He repeated that so far 50,000 guns and mine explosive devices had been handed over, reminding that the deadline for handing over illegal weapons was until June 8 and that 156 new psychologists had been hired, but he also added that this was not of interest to certain politicians, who, he said, would go down in the annals of dishonor, planning originally a protest during a day of mourning, which had never happened anywhere in the world.
