Vucic: We are facing difficult times, the only thing they are interested in are sanctions against Russia and an independent Kosovo
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said from Davos, where he is participating in the 53rd annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), that difficult times are ahead for Serbia, because the Western powers are only interested in sanctions against Russia and an independent Kosovo, reports B92.
Vucic stated that "a decisive year is ahead of us, probably one of the most difficult".
"Many challenges await us, it is not a noose around Vucic's neck but our country. They cannot blackmail me, it is an attack and a noose for our country. How long can this insolence go. Let them say that we condemn those who achieve secession, those who made a decision to bomb a country even though that country has not even stepped on the territory of another country," Vucic said and continued.
"Force can do anything. Force, they can. Everything can be done by force, they can lie and say that they did it just for us, even if they tell us - that's your maximum," Vucic said.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, spoke today with the EU's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, at the WEF Congress Center.
Vucix also met the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.
During his three-day stay in Davos, Vucic will attend a series of meetings of world leaders, including a session on the Diplomatic Dialogue on the Western Balkans.
