Muhaxhiri: Entering into conflicts with the US and the EU created subjective self-realization for Kurti

Political analyst Artan Muhaxhiri assessed that the author's text on the CSM of the State Department adviser Derek Chollet and the United States envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, represented the first time that this approach, of exceptional intensity, was applied in the relations between Kosovo and the US, Telegrafi reports.

"The public guarantees of the American diplomats to the citizens of Kosovo mean the acceptance of the collapse of the model of dialogue with our leadership and distrust towards the representative Kosovo democracy at this moment," Muhaxhiri said.

According to him, this type of political strategy proved the failure of all previous diplomatic efforts to find a compromise solution.

"Countless meetings, various drafts, numerous offers, and creative alternatives, all proved unsuccessful. The last thing Kosovo needs is this dangerous disruption of relations with a fundamental ally of liberation and statehood. With a lack of will for realism in dealing with the Community, Prime Minister Kurti mistakenly entered a one-way street. The more he insists on this approach, the more he will deviate from the normality of his political positioning towards the US and the EU. Entering into open political conflicts with superpowers such as the US and the EU, using distorted populist arguments, can create subjective satisfaction of self-realization for Prime Minister Kurti, but it will cause stagnation, blockages, disappointments, and systemic setbacks," Muhaxhiri said.

According to him, the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities would be established after building the right context in the future, because it was a very important part of the geostrategic and geopolitical agendas of the powers that made decisions for our region.
