Petkovic: We are investing everything we can to preserve our people in Kosovo

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, said tonight that the current government is fighting for Kosovo every day, showing photos of Serbs from Kosovo, victims of various attacks by Albanians in the past period.

"Our struggle goes on day by day, and you know what it's like when you invest more money under impossible conditions than in the previous 40 years. Why don't you say a word about it? Why don't you sometimes praise the projects of the state, not me or Aleksandar Vucic", asked Petkovic in the TV show "Takovska 10" on RTS.

He asked the representatives of the opposition why they do not praise the construction of the University building in Kosovska Mitrovica, the reconstruction of the Health Clinical Center, the construction of the kindergarten, etc.

"We are investing everything we can to save and preserve our people. And those who would like to go from Belgrade, from the bar, to defend Kosovo, to attack..." said Petkovic.

He added that unfounded criticisms are coming from the opposition, because their only goal, he added, is to replace Aleksandar Vucic and come to power.

"They were united by their hatred for Vucic, even though they had been saying the worst things to each other for several months," said Petkovic.

He also emphasized that it is untrue that there is being organized a rally in support of President Vucic before the parliamentary session on Kosovo, and that Vucic will answer questions from representatives of all parliamentary groups.

"As he has done so far, and beat them all," added Petkovic.
