Tahiri: Because of Kurti, Kosovo is considered unstable and at risk of conflict
The head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Abelard Tahiri, says that Kosovo has entered 2023 with the consequences of Prime Minister Albin Kurti's war rhetoric from 2022.
Tahiri stated on Facebook that, thanks to Kurti's rhetoric, Kosovo was considered unstable and at risk of conflict in the international sphere.
"We entered 2023 with the consequences of the Prime Minister's rhetoric during 2022. While Ukraine is under Russian aggression, the prime minister talks about the war in Kosovo. From the successful story of building a modern state, with the Prime Minister's rhetoric during 2022, we returned to the international news as an unstable country with a risk of conflict," Tahiri says.
He asked which foreign investor would risk investing in a country whose prime minister talked about the war that threatened us?
"How can young people in a country ruled by such a prime minister hope for a future?" What economic future awaits a country whose prime minister has the sole vision of dealing with his own war? In fact, the war was the central theme and excuse in the head of the prime minister, who through it refrained from responding to the daily social and economic struggles faced by the citizens of Kosovo," Tahiri added.
He points out that the result of such a government is the departure of young people, lack of investment, lack of development, lack of perspective.
"A new year, with the consequences of an old mentality," Tahiri says.
